Veteran actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 in New Delhi. The news of his demise was shared on social media by Anupam Kher. After complaining of feeling uneasy, the actor was being taken to the hospital at night, but he passed away on the way.
Post his demise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a letter to the late actor’s family sharing his condolences. The letter was shared on Twitter by Anupam Kher who expressed his gratitude to the PM for the same.

Sharing the letter on social media, Anupam Kher wrote on behalf of Satish Kaushik’s wife, Shashi, expressing gratitude from her side. “Respected Prime Minister @narendramodi ji.
