THE BOYS SEASON 4 TRAILER: KARL URBAN AND TEAM SET OUT ON AN MISSION TO SAVE THE WORLD BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE

With just over a month left until the fourth season of The Boys debuts, Prime Video has released a new trailer. Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T Usher and Laz Alonso among others, the show is based on the best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson of the same name.

In the season 4 trailer, Billy Butcher opens up about his regrets and his desire to set things right before his possible demise. Political tension adds to the chaos, while glimpses of characters from the Gen V spinoff add to the intrigue. A deadly virus targets the supes, projecting them as "wrathful gods."

As the characters confront moral dilemmas and the lines between good and evil are further blurred, Butcher stresses the importance of collective action against corruption. Despite the looming threat of supes rounding up non-supes, there's a call to save the world, even if drastic measures are required.

Fans expressed excitement in the comments section. One of them wrote, "This looks incredible. Butcher sounds a lot more appreciate of his team. Saying he can’t do anything he’s doing without them." Another wrote, "We really about to see Homelander go fully unhinged this season."

The official synopsis read, “In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son and his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

The first few episodes of The Boys Season 4 will premiere on June 13 on Amazon Prime Video.
