‘APNE GHAR MAI KIJIYE’: CHOREOGRAPHER RAGHAV JUYAL EXPRESSES FRUSTRATION ON SPOTTING PLASTIC BOTTLES LITTERED NEAR WATERFALL IN DEHRADUN
A video of choreographer-actor Raghav Juyal expressing his frustration over littered plastic and beer bottles near a waterfall in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun is going viral. In the video, Juyal can be seen slamming locals who allegedly littered the place.
In the video, Juyal is standing in thigh-deep water in front of the waterfall, talking to the camera, holding a plastic bottle he found near the fall. Juyal said he heard locals are littering the place and requested them to stop doing it. "We found this here (pointing towards the fall). Do this (littering) at your home and not here. We heard locals are littering the place. I request you with folded hands to stop this. Thank you,” he said in the video.
Sharing the video on his Instagram profile, Juyal wrote, “broken beer bottles , plastic bottles, we need pollution police in Dehradun now it’s enough.”

The viral video accumulated over 31 million views on Instagram, with social media users applauding Juyal for taking a stand against littering. Reacting to the video, a user commented, “How sad is this and so annoying. I am so glad you are talking about it.” Another user wrote, “I have had so many arguments, people need to learn and realise that’s it’s not cool to carry this kinda behaviour.”
“This is so sad to see. People even don’t bother about their own family. This nature is for them as well. International cities Mai jake yeh log Sudhar jate hai . Waha gandagi nhi karenge . Apne India ko hi ganda karenge . People need to learn about it asap. I had many arguments with people but they never understand,” a third user wrote.
