VETERAN ACTOR FARIDA JALAL MAKES RARE PUBLIC APPEARANCE AT 'HEERAMANDI' SCREENING
Veteran actor Farida Jalal recently made a rare appearance at the screening of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.' The upcoming series will premiere on Netflix on May 1.
The iconic actor, who is set to make her comeback on the screen, will be seen playing a pivotal role in the forthcoming eight-part series.
The 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' actor wore an ivory suit for the event and blushed as the paparazzi asked her to pose for the cameras. She was helped across the red carpet by a man as she turned back and greeted the paparazzi.

Farida's character in 'Heeramandi' remains undisclosed. A brief clip from the trailer depicted her exuding regal charm in elegant attire, evidently surprised by unsettling news over the phone. Alongside Farida, the Netflix series features Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal in significant roles. Set in pre-independence India, it narrates the tales of several courtesans.
