CHALLENGERS FIRST REVIEWS OUT: NETIZENS CALL ZENDAYA MOVIE A 'RUTHLESS', 'COMPLEX' DRAMA

Zendaya, Mike Faist and Josh O'Connor starrer Challengers has already premiered in the US. A romantic sports film, directed by Luca Guadagnino, it follows a professional tennis champion who plans a comeback with th ehelf of his wife, a former tennis prodigy, as he goes up against another player, who also happens to be his former best friend and his wife's former lover. The first reviews of the film have already started coming in on X, formerly Twitter, with fans and critics lauding the film.

Challengers, originally set for release in September 2023 and initially planned as the opening film for the 80th Venice International Film Festival, faced delays due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. It eventually premiered in Sydney, Australia, on March 26, 2024, and is now slated for release in the United States by Amazon MGM Studios on April 26, 2024. The film has garnered widespread critical acclaim.
