KANNADA SHOW COMEDY KHILADIGALU PREMIER LEAGUE TO AIR ON THIS CHANNEL FROM APRIL 27

Hit Kannada show Comedy Khiladigalu is set to come back on screen. It will air on Zee Kannada from April 27. Zee Kannada has unveiled a promo of this show on Instagram, which shows a photo of actor-host Master Anand. The promo then further reveals the release date of the show and its timings, that is Saturday and Sunday (9 PM). This time, however, there is a slight change in the name of the show, that is Comedy Khiladigalu has been named Comedy Khiladigalu Premier League. For those who have not watched the show, many professional and aspiring comedians from all over the state perform various stand-up comic acts in front of a panel of esteemed judges to win the coveted title. The promo of the show has garnered more than 5 lakh views.

Does this name change imply a change in the format of the show or not? As of now, it is not known yet.

Zee Kannada piqued the curiosity around this show by unveiling another promo on Instagram. The glimpse shows the cast of Comedy Khiladigalu including actor Prathap Kuri, Akul Balaji, and others rehearsing their dialogues. Host Master Anand is also seen trying different variations in his hosting style. The glimpse further shows other crew members of the show trying different costumes and getting themselves clicked for the further promotional posters of Comedy Khiladigalu Premier League.

For a long time, Master Anand has been an integral part of the show Comedy Khiladigalu Premier League. He is reprising his role as a host for the show this time as well. In an earlier interview with the Times of India, he said, “Comedy Khiladigalu is very close to my heart as I get to meet new people and budding actors from different strata of society from whom I can learn a lot.” He added that he is enjoying his stint as a host in the show, which requires a completely different set of skills.

Besides this show, he has shown his exemplary acting skills in various films as well like Bypass Road, Premam Poojyam etc.
