TABU AND KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN STARRER CREW HAS RAKED IN RS 70 LAKHS IN ADVANCE SALES

The year 2024 has started on a good note, with films like Tere Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Shaitaan and Article 370 doing well at the box office. The next release of the year is Rhea Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor’s Crew starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Diljit Dosanjh with Kapil Shama in a guest appearance.

The film is all set to release on Friday 29th March, with advance booking only being opened on Wednesday morning. And the film seems to have taken a confident start at the box office. It has, as per industry tracker Sacnilk, clocked in ticket sales of about Rs 70 lakhs, seeing about 30,000 tickets, with a major chunk coming from Maharashtra and Delhi regions.

The film has been in the news since the time of its announcement, as three leading ladies were part of the same film. In fact, the music of the film has also been picking up in the last few weeks, especially the song 'Naina' has become an anthem on social media platforms. Kareena in an earlier interview with Film Companion had shared the film is a heist comedy in Ocean Eleven and Ocean Eight space.
